Job Description:
Herkimer College seeks qualified applicants for a full-time Groundskeeper.
This is a non-competitive, Civil Service position with a starting salary of $39,404.
The work involves the performance of routine manual duties necessary for the maintenance and repair of grounds and equipment on the college campus.
Employees in this class may also be called upon to perform a variety of semi-skilled building trade activities and to operate various types of motor vehicles and power equipment.
Groundskeepers work under the direct supervision of a higher-ranking employee but are permitted some exercise of independent judgment in carrying out the details of the work.
Specific instructions may be given for new or unusual assignments.
Direct supervision may be exercised over the work of seasonal helpers and laborers.
A Groundskeeper also does other related work as required.
Requirements:
One year of experience in park or grounds maintenance activities.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
