Maintenance Assistant

Perform maintenance and rehabilitation work on infrastructure including buildings, recreation facilities, bridges, dams, access roads, trails, boundary lines, and Flood Control Projects. This position requires a working knowledge of safety standards and procedures. Will be required to perform moderate to heavy manual labor and lift up to 50 pounds; climb a ladder and work at heights from scaffolds and platforms; operate and transport heavy equipment including dozer, loader, excavator, tractor, and mowing equipment.
Job Function

Salary Range:
From $39022 to $47958 Annually
Minimum Qualification
Two years of full-time experience in maintenance or mechanical work under the supervision of a skilled tradesperson; OR completion of an appropriate two-year technical school course at a school, institute, or branch of the Armed Services, such as the New York State Civil Service Employees Association-Partnership (NYS CSEA-P) Applied Skilled Trades Certificate Program; or an equivalent combination of experience and training gained by completion of appropriate technical courses at a school, institute, or branch of the Armed Services.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
