Washington St, Herkimer, NY 13350 for Outpatient Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, Per Diem.
A qualified Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant would be responsible for implementing direct occupational therapy services to patients, including treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication under physician's orders.
Responsibilities Perform appropriate treatment relative to established functional goals.
Complete daily electronic SOAP note.
Maintain accurate records of patient treatments.
Assist in educating patients with home exercise programs and use of equipment.
Requirements Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Certification as Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of NY.
Knowledge of principles, methods, and equipment used in occupational therapy.
